“Lola I’m having low sales,
I’ve done many adverts but no sales”
“Lola I keep doing adverts all the time but no one is buying from me”
Is this you? Can you relate to any of these?
Then keep reading…
Before you run ads on WhatsApp ask yourself, why am I doing this?
What exactly do you want to achieve?
Is it contacts that will buy immediately? Is it contacts that will add you up and probably buy in future?
What exactly is it what you want to achieve?
If you’re looking for instant sales, WhatsApp ads from Tvs is not the best option because Nigeria is hard. If you’re lucky, you can get immediate sales but it won’t happen all the time.
The most understandable reason why you got instant sales is probably because the audience trusts the poster!
That trust is why they are buying from you immediately, otherwise you won’t get it.
You’ll get contacts that you are supposed to convert into buying audience but some people won’t understand.
Once they don’t buy instantly you think they are useless. You just give up and go and pay for another advert.
And that’s how you keep moving around in circles. Paying for adverts up and down, looking for strangers to buy from you.
Some don’t even save the contacts they get as long as they didn’t enter your Dm with “how much”
Smh.. You need to calm down.
Now, back to running ads. Once you have made up your mind on what it is you want to achieve, create a catchy content.
(A catchy content could be a video- funny video, educative video, skit, or anything at all that grabs and holds people’s attention)
Include an offer (if possible an irresistible offer) , use the word ‘free’ and also include a call to action.
Give them guarantees, include peoples testimonies (reviews) in your adverts if you can… and so on.
Let your advert speak to your target audience.
You are into preorder (which like 100k other people are doing)
You should know that your target audience is not on Football Tv or ad plugs that post porn.
But if you sell Male stuff, you sell jerseys, you sell soccer boots etc
You know that your target customers might be on a football-related TV so channel your adverts towards those areas.
Now you have placed your adverts and you have gotten contacts. What do you do?
Show yourself. I mean it’s important everyone gets to know you because nobody will buy from a brand that can’t be traced.
But how do you get me to like you?
Talkless of trusting you with my money?
Is it by posting “please patronize me your mommy will not die”?
That’s where your strategy comes in.
You are a makeup artist? yes! I see that
I know 50 more makeup artists on my list.
How do you differentiate yourself?

What makes your business unique?
Let me quickly share this story👇
So while I was announcing my first lipgloss training, I told someone that as a makeup artist, you buy lipglosses from other brands yeah? So how would you feel if you start making your own lipgloss and using it for your clients? As a bonus, you can give each client that you get a free lipgloss for choosing you to do their makeup.
This is just an example but you get the point?
Posting pictures of your business isn’t enough.

Also be polite, be respectful, ask for honest feedbacks from your clients, nobody is perfect.
If you feel like you’re not getting enough responses you can ask questions from your clients.
Questions like “why did they choose to buy from you” their responses could be a huge strength that you can capitalize on.
Request for feedback and you can also use that to grow.
Discounts, coupons etc also helps.
